Hello all,
I recently received an interview invite at Hershey and am curious to know if there is any real in-state advantage at interview--ie: 16%(839) of all applicants are in-state, 840 people or thereabouts are selected for interviews. Of the interviewees, does anyone have the foggiest clue as to how many are PA res? PSU accepted 33%(133 people) of their class as in-state last year-not a big deal. But it could be if they interview only a few in-staters. If anyone has a clue let me know.
peace,

Hey Biffer, according to MSAR, of 869 intstate applicants, 238 interviewed, and 54 matriculated. My guess is they accept somewhere between 50-60% instate after interview. So your chances are definitely better than out of state. Good luck. Penn State is a great place.
