Hi.
I just checked my Psych GRE score by paying extra $12 to ETS by phone and I found out that the score was not really great 🙁

Anyway,,
My question is..

When does the Psych GRE score be reported?

I took the test on October 15th but ETS says that the official scores will be released 6 weeks later.

Is that mean ETS will start reporting the Subject test scores from the end of this November?

Deadline for some schools is Dec 1st... So I am very worried that my both General and Subject GRE scores would not be reported before December 1st.

Should I first resend my GRE General score to the institutions which their deadline is on Dec 1st?

But I really don't want to pay extra money to this stupid ETS anymore..

How are you guys dealing with this problem?

Thanks!

did you indicate which schools should receive your scores when you took the test? if so, they have been sent. you can check this on your gre account and click "view my scores." on the first column it will show the date scores were sent out. hope that helps.

I ordered score reports about a week ago because I didn't think the schools I put down on my pgre registration form would get them in time. I even called ets and they led me to believe the scores would be sent out to schools on 11/26 and I have 2 that have 12/1 deadlines. There goes $69. Grrrr....

ETS also told me they would mail them out on 11/26. But keep in mind that schools know that the Psych GRE is given in October and November and does not expect the scores to arrive by the deadlines. In fact, you're ahead of the game compared to students who took it this month. I would be very surprised if a school expects your scores to arrive on time and most specify on their website. If you still have a doubt, I would just ask the graduate coordinator.

Does anyone know what a good score is on the psych gre for the very competitive PhD programs?

I took the prge on 10/15 and it turns out it was scored and sent out on 11/12. I just got my results in the mail this past Friday.

A score of at least 700 (probably even higher) is good for competitive PhD programs, though most of them don't care about it very much, especially if your GPA and psych GPA are good.
