Hello,

I'm a young psychiatrists from Europe being awarded a grant to take part in a CME course in psychiatry. So far I have selected the following:
1. Psychiatry Clinical Reviews 2017 in Mayo Clinic
2. Psychiatry in 2017 in Harvard Medical School
3. Psychopharmacology 2017 in Massachusetts Medical School

There are all 3-day courses. I have read rankings of Psychiatric hospitals in the US, but because I'm not from the US myself, I lack "inside" information of which course is the best organised/more useful/more prestigious/more known etc.

If you have some information concerning those hospitals or those courses, I would be very thankful!

Thank you,

Katie

If you're going off of prestige, you can't beat Harvard. Other than that you'll have to get details about comparing the conferences from attendings with experience at these.

Boston over Chicago any day for the tourism aspect. Also, the seafood in Boston is some of the best. That narrows it down to two. I would also lean towards Harvard just because of the name as I imagine everything else will be roughly equivalent. Enjoy your visit to the US. 🙂
