A few months ago, I graduated with a MA in general psychology. I've decided to look for teaching jobs at the community college and university level. I'm also volunteering at a psychology research lab at a local university. I may want to move into the research field and gaining research experience now should help me if I decide to apply to PhD programs.

I'm looking for suggestions on how to find adjunct professorships or online teaching jobs. I've checked with the local community college district and they are still reviewing my application. I've also applied to positions offered from my undergraduate university and have checked other schools too. I also use HigherEdJobs.com. I was curious if anyone knows of other online job search sites I should check. I'm open to teaching on campus or online and I'd like to start on a part-time basis.

I had some success just reaching out to psychology department chairs at colleges in the area to ask about openings and sending along my CV. Unfortunately a part-time basis is probably the best you can hope for, as a lot of courses tend to be spoken for already by either full-time professors or regular adjuncts who have established themselves at a school. Because of all this, you definitely have to get in early. It's a little late for the fall semester. This will all vary significantly by area, though.

Yeah, I applied to some schools several months ago. I'm hoping something pops up.
