Second this. The 3rd edition is the one that was recommended and i like this for reference (although its redundent), but I LOVE the "Prescriber's Guide." Its in English--not medical jargon" and I even let patients read it and copy it.

I third this. Also UpToDate is an amazing resource when you are looking for quick info on dosing, including geriatric and renal dosing.
