No, the UK has Prozac in their drinking water -- really!, they do: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/health/3545684.stm

Of course it's applicable here! Stahl is an American psychiatrist. His books are published by Cambridge University Press.

Yeah, 15% of fluoxetine is excreted in the feces (80% in the urine/11.6% unchanged). The feces and urine mixes with water in the sewage, then that sewage is treated and re-released as part of the drinking water supply.
