That is my experience and understanding as well. Unfortunately, it seems as though you will likely need to wait until this fall/winter to begin applying.

If I recall correctly, someone once posted a link (I think it was from the APA) that listed programs with open slots after all was said and done with offer extensions/applicant acceptances. Don't have it on hand, but it would be worth a search of the board.

Possibly Alliant/Calif School of Prof'l Psych. Their 1/15 deadline was soft:
"Submitting a complete application by January 15 guarantees that you
will be notified of your admissions decision by April 1. Applications
submitted after January 15 are welcome, but will be reviewed on a
space available basis." Several campuses.

Good luck!

It sounds like the admissions decision is for the graduate school, itself, not individual programs that fall under the graduate school. Thus, you will have to apply separately for admission into the psychology department

Does anyone have any information about this? For which programs does this apply to? Is this their way of getting a jump start on the "post april 15th list" that is posted about what places are still accepting people? It kind of sounds too good to be true...
