I have just finished my sophomore year of und. grad and have a 2.7gpa. I know I can do a lot better and plan on improving my gpa a good bit. But I want to get into pt school after I graduate and know how competitive it is. I have made a good bit of Cs already. I need some advice if i should keep trying to pursue pt school before this summer because if I do still have a chance I will get as many observations hours this summer as possible. Or should consider changing my major. Please just offer some advice. Thanksii

Try to aim for AS and Bs your junior and senior year, especially in your science prereqs, get good gre scores, good personal statement. Depending on the applicant pool year your applying, it's viable. Good luck!

I think you need to do some real self reflection and decide if you can really bump this up significantly. Some people have ability and some don't; only you know what you can accomplish. As of now, your stuff sucks. What did you get on the SAT? You'll probably get a similar percentile rank on the GRE so think about that too. If you have a 2.7 because you were lazy but you normally test In the top 10% you know you can fix this. If you actually tried and still only got a 2.7 then it's probably time to pack it up
