I have just completed my sophomore year majoring in Biolgoy and am hoping to get into DPT school. Entering my junior year I will have a 3.15 GPA, earned a C+ in both semesters of anatomy/physiology (UW parkside has a strong program) and have 150 hrs of sports medicine job shadowing. I am also a DII cross country/track scholarship athlete and tutor at the university. What can I do to increase my chances further? HELP?!

Rock this next year's courses and get your GPA up, I'd say make that a main focus as it is usually the first thing programs look at. Study up on the GRE for when you take it, get a great score and keep up the extracurriculars.

If possible, contact the admissions staff at the schools you want to go to, chat up the staff and make friends. Name recognition can go a long way.
