Hi friends, i m new member of these forum.I have no idea where to start. I am a PT and want to go to med school. So should I take MCAT first or application to AAMC???? My PT education will suffice the need for undergraduate studies??????

Prereqs usually include:
8hr of English
8hr of Bio with lab
8hr of Gchem with lab
8hr of Ochem with lab
8hr of Physics with lab
Some humanities, etc.

Just look at some schools you are interested in. They list them on the sites.

Perfect way:

Take the MCAT first before May and submit AMCAS in June (cant submit until June 1). That way you will be complete early and give yourself a better shot.

Try the search feature. Most of the stuff you need to know has already been discussed on here somewhere.

You might have to go back and finish a few classes. Most schools will require a few extra chemistry classes (my wife is in PT school) before you can apply. Also, make sure you take that MCAT seriously. Don't take it until you are ready.

Good luck!
