I submitted my PTCAS application over 4 weeks ago and had everything complete. I was waiting on my GPA calculations and last friday I received an email from PTCAS stating that I had to fix the prefixes on the classes of my undergrad university. I graduated from there in 2010 and haven't taken any classes since then at that university so my transcript should have been up to date. The only thing I can think of was the university made a change somewhere and the transcript that I had was from right after I graduated and something changed in the departments that I didn't know about.

Anyway, now I contacted my undergrad university and have a new transcript on its way to me. In the mean time, one of my choices for PT school has a deadline of November 1. I probably won't make that deadline now that I have to update my coursework. Will the school still get my information because I technically e-submitted 4 weeks ago? I tried calling PTCAS to get answers but they were not very helpful.

I had to resubmit my application too because of transcript issues. After fixing the changes, I resubmitted on a Friday and by the next tuesday, everything was verified and my app was ready to be sent out. I think as long as you submit as soon as possible you should be good with the Nov 1 deadline. Good luck!

I had the same problem. PTCAS said that the schools can see when u submit and resubmit.

I had the same problem today. There was something wrong with my transcript so i had to submit that again. They told me as long as i esubmitted before deadline i should be fine. They also said that you should call the school to make sure if they want the PTCAS information by the deadline or esubmitted by the deadline. Luckly my #1 school told me that as long as it was esubmitted before Nov 1st, im ok. Best of luck.

Keep in mind their weekly mailing go out on Tues. Any way the university can email or give you on line access to your university transcripts, even unofficial...........so you can enter the correct prefixes.
