Hi, I was just wondering, I am asking one of the PT's I observed to fill out the form to verify I did the observation along with a reference form. I am not sure I will get a good reference from the PT (I could probably get a better one from someone else) but I want to have her reference on file just in case I don't get one from someone else. Is it possible to select which references I want to be sent out or they must be sent out altogether? Please let me know, thanks. Sorry if this question was confusing at all.

Hey, I had the exact same question. Some schools that i was applying to wanted a recommendation from an employer and I didn't feel like it was strong enough to send to the other programs. I called PTCAS about it and they said they all rec are sent to all of the programs. Even if you apply to some programs early then add a reference later, they will send out the reference to all the programs you have applied too. I'd say try to get the best references possible since most programs will only look at the required number. I eventually cut the programs that required an employer reference because I couldn't find a good one. Good luck!
