Hi all,

I'm taking the darn exam at the end of this month and currently going through FA 2007. Got something i am stuck on, any inputs appreciated.
I dont remember reading about PTH having any effect on cAMP, but in FA, it says PTH secretion causes an increase in cAMP. Can any one elaborate on this? FA 2007 Pg 264.

Cheers.

That is the same way that beta-adrenergic agonists, glucagon, and TSH act also.

Yea, make sure you know your second messengers. There's always a question on the test about receptor pathways. FA has them outlined.
