Hello friends,

I have a question regarding one of my publication and how I should put it in my AACOMAS app.
So the research article that I co-authored, has went through the peer review process already and the paper has been officially accepted by the journal. So now I am just waiting for the publisher to upload my paper online and incorporate it into the next issue. The process should take less than a month.

My question is- should I list this research article under "achievements" in AACOMAS app and state that it will be ready to view soon or should I just wait until people can see it? I am thinking that schools probably won't look at my application until all secondaries are submitted but I may be wrong.

So, put this publication in my app NOW or wait until the entire process is finished? I am just afraid that schools won't be able to see the article right now online.

Any input helps thanks! also @Goro please give me your advice thank you!

If it's officially been accepted def put it as an achievement. Just add it's in press right now and a potential date of when it'll appear. If you want you can update it later but I really don't see it being that big of a deal. You could even notify specific schools if you wanted.

I agree with above that you should list it as an accomplishment and note the date of when the article will appear. If you have "early view," they can actually see the article almost a month earlier than the anticipated date of publication.

You write it like this:

Achievements:

Publications in press:

"In press" is considered the same as "published"

Thanks @Goro @AlteredScale @IslandStyle808

One additional question: what exactly is the difference between "in press" and "accepted"?
And is it right to say something like "this article is in press for publication"?

Acepted means the journal has accepted it. In press or in print usually means its been accepted and is currently in the process of being placed into the journal. A lot of times your accepted piece will come in the following months journal edition.

Same thing.

That's a longer way of saying it. The "for publication" is redundant to "in press".
