does any one know what the Requirement is to get in to this school? i live in texas so there are allot of spanic people here. so if any one that has gotten in to the puerto rico optometry school please let me know.
GPA? OAT SCORE? LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION? ETC......

ok let me rephrase my ?, what is the low and the high gpa and oat score?

Don't worry, they let anyone in, provided you're willing to learn all your classes in Spanish 😉

Actually a family friend of mine is a 3rd year student at IAUPR and she said not even one of her classes has been taught in Spanish thus far.. they have all been taught in English. If you're asking about the requirements because you want to be accepted, I don't think you have anything to worry about because it seems as if anyone who applies (even with a subpar gpa and OAT score) gets in.

cuase the reason i ask is becuase when i came to this country i really didint have time to study and i always had to work, i majored in bio and minor in chem but gpa is not near any of you guys. my goel for the is to be an optometrist. REJ815 is your causin say good things about the school or is it the other way???? be blunt please. and i was reading the other post and the only one that seems to talk bad about the school is this person by the name of maddi. i dont mind learning spanish, that just give me an advantage for the future. thank you

I was just being facetious; I don't think they let EVERYONE in. However their entering average GPAs and OAT scores are SIGNIFICANTLY lower than every other school (3.05 & 290, respectively). I am not in any position to comment on the quality of their education, I am only pointing out the information that is publicly available.

is anyone applying to this school?
