I just submitted my AEDA application yesterday. I have no prereqs and plan to aggressively get them through winter/spring and summer. I'm a junior at NYU (technology degree)
I banked shadowing hours and got one LOE from my Ortho. I'm a bit regretful as I may have submitted too early? At 39, I wanted to give myself a shot at Fall 2012 entry. If I can get my pre-reqs and DAT in by the end of the summer next year, do I stand a chance?
Should I be expecting flat-out rejections (Hoping for UMDNJ entry - as I'm in-state) I spoke with the advisor there and she said "If you are taking summer courses we advise you to do very well, B+/A. Your DAT scores should also correlate with your science GPA." I don't think loading up on prereqs will be an issue over the summer (2 six week sessions could feasibly bank 4 science course)
That means I would need to nail Gen Chem 1&2 and Physics 1&2 before summer begins)
