My sleep schedule is totally ruined from studying for the DAT due to insomnia combined with the stress of studying. Currently, I'm sleeping at like 6-7am(until 1-2pm) I was considering just staying up two days before the DAT to reset my sleep schedule so that I'd wake up at 2-3am(the day of the DAT), give myself 3 hours to fast review things, then take the test. What do you think?
My test is at 8am, so I need to head there at 7am(30 minutes before+drive). Give myself an hour or so for shower+food.

What do you think about this idea? I cannot sleep earlier because I take prescription adderall, so it would require me to not take it(which makes me less productive and lethargic).

I might even do it 3-4 days before the test.

You're going to have to do it 3-5 days before the test. Your body is used to sleeping at the time of the test so now you need to give your body time to adjust, it usually takes me 3-5 days but that's with melatonin and no naps during the day. You could have scheduled the test afternoon too to account for this btw.

Change your sleeping habits ASAP, otherwise you'll be naturally sleepy sometime during the test.

It may just be me, but even when I pull an all nighter I try to take a 20 to 30 min nap. It makes me feel like the information solidifies in my head. That way you won’t feel like you missed out on study time too.

I’m not sure if it’s still considered an all nighter if you take a nap. But I really think it helps.

I’d agree with changing the schedule ASAP. One strategy is to take naps throughout the day after you wake up. That way when you get to your normal sleeping time you already had a few naps and can power through the remaining 8 to 10 hours.

Best of luck!
