Pulmonary edema and filling of the pleural cavity by a transudate is MOST suggestive of which of the following underlying diseases?
A Cor pulmonale
B Pulmonary embolism
C Pulmonic valve stenosis
D Tricuspid valve prolapse
E Left sided heart failure
I picked "A", I didnt read through the whole thing, I can understand why the answer is "E" but A is also true no? anyone know any reason why E is a better answer than A? I understand the pathology of both, but what makes E "most suggestive" vs A? something to just memorize or there is a reason?
