I have some questions on antiarrhythmics.Need some help.
1.Does Na window current functions opposite of fast Na channels & K+ channels? If not, then why blocking fast Na+ & K+ channels increases AP duration (as in 1A ) and by blocking Na window current decreases AP duration (as in 1B)?
2. why "No effect in AP duration" ( mentioned in Kaplan) when class 1 C is blocking Na + channels?Don't you think, there should be increase AP duration?
3. FA 2015 says that - class 1C significantly prolongs ERP in AV node & No effect on ERP in purkinje & ventricular tissue. But, on the side, figure of ventricular AP is given. Don't you think given figure is not matching with explanation provided?
Can anybody pls explain ???Thanks.
