Q-drops on transcript---UT Austin people or anybody else...

I dropped a course well before the "withdrawal period." early on in the semester, with no academic penalty--it shows up as "Q" on my UT Austin transcript. So I do not indicate it was a "withdrawal" or "incompelte" on the AMCAS application, right?

a Q is the same thing as a W.

if you really withdrew before the initial withdrawal period (before the 12th class day), it wouldnt even show up on your transcript at all.

call the registerar at your school or the Texas application people just to be sure. I think you need to list everything that shows up on your application.
