What's the deal with the Kaplan QBank microbio questions bringing up all these new bugs, virulence factors, and diseases? should I really bother learning them? I know the FA micro pretty cold and get most questions right if it was mentioned in FA (90%+ in USMLERx) but its annoying to get questions wrong because Qbank is pulling a cheapshot on me. I read CMMRS too and I don't recall reading about some of the crap qbank has asked me.

Anyone who has taken the test encounter a microbio question that was not mentioned in first aid AND could not be answered by process of elimination?

Everything I've seen in Qbank thus far (30% complete) can be explained in Clinical Micro Made Simple. I'd say that's fair game. Just read the explanations in qbank and move on. don't sweat it too much, but try to remember why you missed the question.
