I plan to do BRS Path 2x (I've already read through it once) and then use 1st Aid + Qbank to prepare for my path shelf on May 5. I haven't heard to many other people at my school mentioning that they were going to use this as a strategy, and I'm wondering if I'm missing on any potential negatives of using this strategy. I'd appreciate any thoughts.

peace!

i used fa & did q bank for my weak areas & that was plenty for the path shelf.

brs is good if you have the time (i didn't). the first few chapters of brs (cell injury, etc.) aren't really covered in fa, so if you have limited time for brs, start at the beginning.

know fa cold before you get into brs. it's much higher yield.

hope this helps. 🙂

I rocked the shelf with this approach. I read BRS once really slowly, read First Aid pathology section about twice (once slowly and once the day before the shelf really fast) and did about 1/3 of Qbank's pathology questions. The rest of Qbank pathology I did for Step 1 prep.
