From what I've read from most people that have taken the test, it seems like there are alot of word problems on the DAT. However, on all the practices I've taken, it seems to be half word problems and half other stuff. Would you guys advise I put more focus on my missed word problems, or more focus on the other stuff? Right now I score around a 17-18 on Acheiver/Topscore, most being:
-missed because I didn't memorize an equation you need to know for the question
-missed because I didn't memorize a conversion (like gallons to liters)
-word problem involved to much stuff and i got too confused to solve it
-sin/cos/tan type problems that go beyond just knowing soh cah toah
-solving some angle stuff that gets really complex
-running out of time because the word problems take alot of time
