just wondering if anyone could help me out on a quntitative reasoning problem. here's the question;

if y= x+4/x-1 then which of the following represents x?
a.3y/y+1 b.3y+2/y-1 c.3y+2/y d.4+y/y-1 e.4y-2/y-1

y = (x+4)/(x-1) *multiply both sides by (x-1)
y(x-1) = (x+4) *distribute*
yx - y = x+4 *move y and x to other sides*
yx -x = 4+y *factor out an x on the left side*
x(y-1) = y+4
x = (y+4)/(y-1)
