QR by Kaplan Q10 of Practice Test 6:

a > 0 > b assuming a = 10, b = -1

then, b - a < ab, which will be -1 - 10 < (-1)(10)
so, it will be -11 < -10 where B is correct. the ans for this Q is E. 😱 - none of these...

isn't -10 is greater than -11? CONFUSED!!!

Did you write this down wrong? The question is listed as

a < 0 < b assuming a = 10, b = -1

Which is impossible because

10 < 0 < -1 is a false inequality...

If this is how it is written on the test then the correct answer E. None of the above makes sense because the initial is totally bogus.
 
You didn't give the whole problem. Did you randomly choose A and B or did they give those values to you?

If you chose them, try something like A = 5 and B = -5. That wouldn't work.
