Hey everyone quick question on the QR section for this year. So I know that there are a lot of posts about this and that the qr is changing and all, but I've heard that for this year it will be a "pilot test" and that the new questions won't count til 2016. Is this true? How does that work then are there more questions?

If someone could let me know if really appreciate it.

Thanks!

"2015 Changes to Quantitative Reasoning Test (QRT) Specifications In order to enhance testing of critical thinking skills, the detailed specifications of the Quantitative Reasoning Test (QRT) are being changed as follows: New: Data Analysis, Interpretation, and Sufficiency; and Quantitative Comparison (includes, but is not limited to, conversions; probability and statistics; geometry; and trigonometry) The QRT will still contain 40 questions in total. These changes will be implemented during Calendar Year 2015. "

They don't give a set date but I think once these changes are implemented, they will be updated on the ada website.

So should I continue studying the current material as I am?

Yes, I would say it is safe to keep using the same material. But if you really want to be safe and have extra time, possibly look at some questions covering Data Analysis, Interpretation, and Sufficiency. Personally, I would just continue to study as you were.
