I have gone to a Canadian school all my life and so I am not familiar with the measurement units used in American schools.
Do I need to know how to convert an ounce to a gallon and a foot to a yard, etc??? or is the metric system used?

I was doing DAT achiever and it asks quite a few questions converting between the two systems also. Should I also memorize all the conversions from both systems? like km to mile, etc.

I'm studying for my test right now and I'd like to know the answer to this also. Do we have to know gallon to liter, lbs to tons?

they may give you some conversion factors, but i would not count on it imo. I remember I got a "note that 5280 feet = 1 mile" hint on my word problem question and "If 3 feet = 1 yd..." kinda thing. Not sure if this is for every problem though.
