Hey has anyone tried a book called "The Secret to Mental Math"? If so, what did you think about the book? I have found it to be a great way to stay sharp mentally and gets me to process numbers quickly. I take my DAT on July 12th and I would feel better about using this book if someone else has had success with it. Thanks

I havent used it but if you have time, why dont you go over Math Destroyer instead of this book?
The best strategy for QR section is repetition. The more problems you do, the better. So hitting that math destroyer hard.

👍

The advantage of math destroyer is... you can do the same problem/test multiple times just as long as you give you self a period of time between them (like 2+ weeks, so you don't have the solution memorized)

lol, funny thing is i did buy that book about 3 yrs ago, when u weren't allowed to use calculators on the real DAT. That book was really helpful back then, to do the mental math with no calculators around. I would definitely substitute that for the Math Destroyer.

haha ya it is kind of a cool book, but I definitely still use math destroyer a lot more. I just use the book in the morning as a sort of brain exercise while I eat breakfast. It has at least helped me gain an intuition for arithmetic types of stuff.
