what's up all?

dat on monday, and feeling pretty good so far! just wondering about the QR section. i tend to get hung up on some of the more worded problems. would it be easier to go through the entire section and just look for the "simpler" math-based problems (i.e. logs, simplification problems, solving for x, y etc), mark the longer problems and then go back through them once i am finished with the easier ones? on topscore i found myself short on time several times with the last few problems. the last few problems seemed to be easier....

my QR kaplan final/topscore/achiever scores was 20/18/17 and the real thing was a freaking 14. I totally went out of time and every single problems (not joking, I had maybe about 4 or 5 easy q'n and about 3 or so trig) was words q'n. The ADA sample one is totally misleading. I could barely finished the first 25 questions and for the rest I marked "C". Sad story...

I think your method is best, there are some problems that require a lot of time and your better off wasting 5 seconds clicking next than taking 4 minutes on a problem and end up missing 3 easy ones because you ran out of time...

For questions that you know are going to take a long time... randomly choose an answer, mark the question, and move on. That way at least if you don't have time to get back to it... i never do... you'll have put down an answer and have at least some chance of getting it right.
