Hi,

I was wondering what the housing is like out there? The area around the school does not seem too great. What are some areas that the students are staying and what are the prices?

Also, how do you like the program?

Not too many students live near the campus. Many students live in Aventura and Sunny Isles and the rest are scattered all over within a 15 mile radius. You are usually safe if you live East of I-95.
The average housing prices are:
1 BR: $600-$1000
2 BR: $1000-$1500
3 BR: $1500-$2000
Of course, you pay more for better amenities and safety. Best way to save money, for single students, is to share an apartment. You will get a nicer place and you also get a carpool partner to save on gas.
If you have more specific questions, send me a private message and I will give you more info.
The program is great. We just got a new Dean and changes are being made to the curriculum and other things, so we are the guinea pig class. All the kinks are being worked out through my class and the 2nd year class. By the time the new students come in, things will run smoothly and the program will be amazing.

Thanks for the info! I sent you a pm. There seems to be a lot of condos for cheap but I imagine some of the area is not so great.
