Any suggestions for free or inexpensive software for qualitative analyses? I'm doing qualitative coding project, and I've heard good things about NVivo, but I've already spent $$$ on MPlus and SPSS, and I'm not willing to spend lots of money on software for a side project.

Thanks!

NVivo is definitely the ideal way to go, but if you're limited on funds, I would suggest dedoose or atlas.ti. Personally, I have only used NVivo, but I attended a qualitative seminar at a conference and both were suggested as effective methods for content analysis.
