a bowl contians 1000 tickets numbered b/w 1-1000 what is the probability thats a number between 10 and 90?

none of the above

i thought it be D because it says BETWEEN so i figured not including 10 and 90 but the answer is A...are we supp to always include the number they give us in a between question or w/e

well 10 is between 10 and 90 and so is 90 so therefore you would include both numbers. Perhaps the question could have been worded a little better so say 10 and 90 inclusive but either way both numbers are usually included. According to your logic how do you get 82/100.
