Hi guys,
Its been yrs since I took my Calculus class so I don't remember much of it. What should I use to practice the quantitative reasoning part of OAT? I got Kaplan GRE and GMAT Math Workbook. Is it worth going through the whole book for OATs. Generally, how bad the quantitive reasoning part is?Any suggestions pls.

I borrowed my friend's OAT Kaplan Course books to study. I did practice problems and timed myself. I don't remember any calculus ever being on the test.

I felt like the QR section was just like the SATs, but easier. If you did fairly well on the math portion of the SATs, I think you'll be fine. I did one practice OAT session on it and did well on the actual OAT. Just work through them fast... (That was my problem during the practice). Because I was so worried with the timing, I did it so fast on the OAT that I had an extra 10 minutes to spare. lol. Got a 380 on that though... not too bad.

Def no calc questions, it goes up to some trig, but they like to give you lots of tricky time consuming questions, so dont spend much time on the ones you're "stuck" on. I agree with Monkee2008, time yourself don't give yourself any advantages when you are taking the practice tests. Skip the ones you don't know and go back to them so you don't run out of time!
