Questioj about DAT scores and application

Mu sophmore year is coming to an end and I will be taking the DAT this upcoming July. I am kind of confused how the scores work in terms of availablity and sending them to schools. I wont be applying until next year when my junior year ends, however, on the website where I register to take the DAT, it says for me to select schools I want my scores to be sent to or seen. Will my scores be available to be viewed by schools next year as well when I actually apply ? Or will I have to pay seperate fees to release or send my scores again next year when I actually apply? I was in the same situation last summer. Since I wasn't sure where I would be applying, I just elected to send my scores to all of the available schools because it's free to do it prior to the test, but $37 per school after. I'm pretty sure they will still be able to view them when you apply the following summer, maybe someone else can confirm. Either way, I don't see a downside to just sending your score everywhere right away since it's free.
