I'm planning on applying in June but I'm retaking organic chem II in late summer because I got a C- the first time. Can I still apply in June and just update my grades on AADSAS later? Is there a space somewhere on the AADSAS app for a note saying that I'm upgrading this course? If schools see that C- before I update, and don't know that upgrading my mark, will they reject me?

Sorry if these questions seem dumb. I've never used AADSAS and am not really sure how it all works.

AADSAS does have an academic update where you can put your summer/fall semester grades but it isn't open until December and stays open until February so by that time it might be a little late to update for your ochem II class just because it is much better to get a pre-dec. 1st interview than a post dec interview. But when you are filling out your coursework, there is an option to put your planned or in progress classes down so your schools can see that you are retaking the class which the adcoms will probably like since you go a C-. Applying early is crucial so I would definitely apply in June and just hope that the adcoms will understand you are retaking and give you an interview. (plus a C- isn't the end of the world, if you don't have too many you will be fine.)

ok, thanks! yeah this is my only grade below a B so i know it's not that big of a deal but i know some schools require no less than a C grade on prerequisites so i figured i'd better retake it just in case.
