Hey,
I want to sign up for Step 3 but not sure about which state. I plan on practising in Texas and also plan on taking the Step 3 there when I am in the USA for interviews for the Match. Does it matter`? Any problems later if I sign up at a different state? As far as I have seen Texas has no requirements for prior training. It says:
Ok, so I am doing residency training in Germany starting in October, do I have to fill out the postgraduate training form? I am working in a pediatric practices so there is no real program director just the doctor that owns the practice. Does she have to sign it? Does it has to be in front a notar? Or how does that work? Or is this form only for people that did training in the USA and I don't have to worry about it.
It also said that the new cycle starts in October and like you can see above they won't accept forms received between september 3 and october when they start the 2011 cycle. Do I have to wait till October or is there anything I can already get done before that?
I plan on taking it beginning of dec or end´of november since I plan on being in the USA for december to interview and want to take the Step 3 while I am there. How possible is it to get an open date that soon? And long does it take for processing? I am not sure when to send in my application in order to get a date in the prometric center in that time frame. It is already hard to schedule the interviews much less to worry about Step 3.
