2 DO schools currently placed my application on hold, as in they did a preliminary review and decided not to interview me at this time. Both emails stated that I may be interviewed later in the cycle. My main question is do I need to be submitting updates to them for them to still consider me? I am out of school and don’t plan on retaking my MCAT, so I don’t have any academic updates for the schools. Does anyone have any history of getting off the application hold later on without any real updates to their app?

Updates rarely have any effect at this point in the cycle. they're best for getting you off the wait list.

Thank you for your wise words as always! The 2 schools that placed my application on hold are very mission driven (which my application lacks), so that most likely played a part in why my application was placed on hold.
