hi, I have question about the application. I know the ADEA opens up in june 1st. I have the account, but it seems like i can't enter any information for my coursework, dental experience and etc.... so does that mean i can fill them out on june 1st??? Also, I asked this question before but I can not find the transcript matching form and LOR matching form?? is it in the website or does it have like barcode or something? Also, I am planning to take DAT around June 10th and and finish essay around June 15. Does that mean my application will be held up til June 15? I graduated so I don't have any thing much. If not, can I still apply on June 1st????? PLEASE HELP!!! THANK YOU

Is your account from last years cycle? That might be why you can't put anything in. You can't make an account for the D1 class of 2010 until June 1st.

Correct, you can't fill anything out until June 1st(!!!)

Yea, I'm pretty sure that's in the AADSAS area. I didn't use forms, I just asked my prof's to send it online(!!) You just enter their email address and the AADSAS thingy automagically sends them an email with instructions on how to do everything.

Yes. Although you can technically submit without the DAT score, schools won't bother looking at you without it. The essay is mandatory before submission. It also takes a few weeks for AADSAS to verify your transcripts, and then send everything to each school. It's a good idea to assume that it will take about a month for everything to reach your schools.

But submit everything on June 15th and you'll be fine. Anytime in June is great.

DAT scores are officially sent by your testing center. You should have signed up for the schools you want to send them to when you signed up for your testing date, so I don't think your question is an issue. You enter your scores in the AADSAS application, but the real thing is sent by the center after you take your test. Because the scores are sent directly to the schools, it has nothing to do with the AADSAS application.

So in other words, take the DAT whenever, and the scores will be sent to the schools. Don't wait for you transcript to be verified in order to take the DAT.

Be careful, unless you know you're only going to take the test once (and who knows that until you take it), I wouldn't pick more than 5 schools, or else you'll be throwing a ton of money away if you need to retake. If you have to sign up for the test again, you have to spend all the additional money to send the score reports out to all of your schools - instead of just doing it once after you get the score you're comfortable with.

And if you do well your first try, it's simple enough to request additional score reports.
