Hello!

I am scheduled to take DAT in June 22nd.
In this case, is it better to submit my application on June 2nd still or should I wait?
(My application is ready except the new DAT score)

I am re-taking the DAT so I do already have the previous DAT score but I am worried whether the adcoms are going to judge me based on my previous score if I submit it on June 2nd.
But I am international student so I want to be in the early group of application cycle.

Please give me some suggestions!
I am really worried about what to do.

If you are a first time applicant, it's better to submit app on June 2nd since it can take up to 2 months for AADSAS to calculate your GPA. If you are a reapplicant and have no new classes to report, it won't matter since your application won't take long to process. I applied after my DAT because I didn't want adcom to review my app with my old DAT score and was afraid of my app falling in the cracks and doesn't get reviewed again with my new DAT score.

So they are not going to be able to send my application package before my DAT date anyway, right?
(since my DAT is on June 22nd..)

Also, is there difference between re-applicant and first time applicant?

They send it before the DAT retake date, read my edit. I don't think there's a difference, but some say reapplicants can have an advantage if they showed great improvement from the previous cycle.

So if I want my new score to be included, should I wait till June 22nd to submit my application?
Is June 22nd typically considered late application?
(not first batch?)

Actually, it takes like 2 to 4 weeks for DAT score to be updated on AADSAS. I don't feel comfortable advising you when to apply, so I will just tell you what I did. I first applied to couple schools with lower DAT average. Then, after my DAT, I applied to good schools that were in my academic range. I was afraid that schools would review my app with my old DAT score had I applied earlier and not go back to review with my new DAT score since the application volume is high.

Being the absolute 'first batch' is a bit overrated. I don't think the difference between submitting on June 2 and June 22 is substantial, and I'd personally wait to submit it all until the DAT is done.

Glimmer's estimate (which I'm sure was well researched) was that batches 1-6 should be on roughly the same footing in terms of being considered 'early', so I wouldn't sweat submitting on the first vs last week on June or anything like that.

Thanks for the reply! I think I am going to submit it after my DAT is completed I guess 🙂
BTW how long does it usually take after the submission?
(about a month??)

(I don't want the schools to judge me based on mt past DAT score lol..)

Another question!
If the GPA Verification takes up to 4-8 weeks, then Can I submit the application in before I take the DAT anyways?
(since I will have my DAT score before my GPA is verified anyways..)

Or after I click the submit button, is it impossible to add my new DAT score?

Two months?! So no first time applicant can go on to first batch? or possibly second batch?
I don't know when exactly the first batch is sent out. It could be in July or August for all I know. However, it takes one to two months for AADSAS to calculate the GPA.

It definitely does not take that long for GPA verification. Many people were verified within a week. First batch is sent out towards the end of June, 1st batch during 2014-2015 cycle was sent out 6/20 and during 2013-2014 cycle it was sent out 6/28.

You can submit with the DAT, you don't have to wait, your GPA will be verified and application mailed. After your DAT is uploaded (2-3 weeks), it will be sent again.

Mine took over a month and that's what customer representative at AADSAS said when I called them. I didn't apply on the day app opened, so maybe there were a lot of people ahead of me.
