Do you think it would be advisable for me to send to pharmacy schools my university's compilation endorsement? I think I'll be the first pharmacy student they've had in years as everyone applies to med school, so I'm not particularly sure if it's even worth it at all as med schools have different requirements in formalities. How does this even work with pharmcas - will they even accept it at all? Will pharmcas be all that's sufficient for the application process? Suggestions?

If you are applying to schools that require PharmCAS, then you submit what PharmCAS requests... nothing more and nothing less. That is all you need to do. If schools want anything else (like a supplemental application) you will be instructed by that school exactly what to submit.

I don't know what a compilation endorsement even is, 😕 but I know that PharmCAS schools require EVERYTHING to be sent to PharmCAS. Nothing gets sent to the school directly unless they ask you for it specifically. Everything you need to know about the PharmCAS application process is on the PharmCAS website.

The school's premed committee comes together with all the advisors etc and write a former letter of recommendation on behalf of the student applying to medical schools. Within it are all the letters of recommendation that I have, basically pharmcas done by this committee that sends the package off to med schools.

bump, does anyone know?

I don't see how it could hurt. If the admin committee is interested in reviewing it they will, if they feel like it is irrelevent then they won't.

i don't think that's a good idea. some schools might not mind, other specifically says no letter service (which is pretty much what you have). some also says everything must come from pharmcas or they won't look at it. others require letters send directly TO the school. it all depends on the school. so overall your best bet is to check out each school's website, and pay attention to details. most require individual letters from recommendators send directly to pharmcas. also, i don't know how your recommendation letters look like, but if they are geared toward medical school, and they got send to pharmacy schools, i'm sure the pharm schools won't appreciate it.
