question about applying school

Hi,
I cannot decide where to apply, and I am not very rich want to minimum schools I choose. My GPA in around 3.8 in undergrad and 3.9 in graduate school. I am currently CA resident. I will apply UCLA, USC , UOP, nd UCSF. But I am not sure if I need to apply western U, since it's a new school but the tuition is kind of high....>< I want to apply some public school in east coast like maryland, pitt and bafflo, but do you guys think I have the chance?? Or just wasting money to apply it? I am thinking to apply nevada LV U, but someone told me that they only accept in-state student....>< I want to stay in west coast, but fewer schools there. What do you guys think? Where should I apply???? My DAT score is okay and resonable.

I think, for those east coast public schools, you should have a chance since they accept many out of state applicants. UNLV accepts 1/3 of their students from out of state pool.

If your DAT is around 20, I think you should have no problema.
