So i was recently accepted to X DO school which asked in the secondaries whether or not i have any traffic violations, speeding tickets, misdemeanors, felonies ect. and i checked yes on that box, indicating that at least one of those categories apply to me.

During my interview, they asked me about it. I told them that as far as I could remember, I only have traffic violations/ a few speeding tickets, with the last one being a few years ago.

I have never been arrested or charged with any kind of public indecency. Only speeding tickets and other minor violations like rolling a stop sign/ not wearing a seat belt.

However, I do have one ticket from 5+ years ago when I was a teenager when I went 30miles over the speed limit, which i understand is really bad. When I went to court for it, I payed a large fine and the ticket was brought down to a lower charge and I did not get any points on my license or anything. I've never been arrested or anything, just a handful of speeding tickets (the rest of which are <20 miles over) and minor violations like rolling at a stop sign and not wearing a seat belt.

I did not bring it up during my interview when they asked me about why i checked yes to that box asking if i had any misdemeanors or traffic tickets ect. (all i mentioned was the more recent ones which were <20 miles over) and I'm worried I wasnt transparent enough about this. It might have slipped my mind because I was nervous and did not prepare for them to ask me straight up what have you done that we should know about. Also I was pretty nervous.

Should I be worried about when I release my background check to them that they will see it and revoke my acceptance?

TLDR: got a really bad speeding ticket, checked "yes" on secondary that asked if I did any bad things ever, did not mention this specific 30mph speeding ticket during interview, worried that I might get my acceptance revoked because of this. What should I do/ what do you think the school will do?

Every school I applied to had it listed that you only had to mark yes if you were ever fined or convicted of any crime for any reason, excluding traffic tickets which sounds like what you're describing. In that case, tickets should not revoke your acceptance in anyway. You may have read the question incorrectly. However any misdeamors that aren't traffic-related could cause an issue if they weren't disclosed. Keep in mind schools are not looking to get rid of good applicants after they've already been accepted. Background checks are just to make sure you're not hiding a violent past and such. @Fuzzball500

The box on the secondary that i checked included traffic violations and speeding tickets. It specifically said "have you ever been charged with speeding tickets, misdemeanors felonies" ect. So i checked off yes.

I do NOT have any misdemeanors or ANYTHING on my record outside of traffic/speeding tickets. Never been arrested or have been in any trouble with law enforcement. You think ill be fine in that case?

If anything, you will probably have a meeting with the dean to talk about it. That happened to a friend of mine, and now he's currently an MS2.
