Do you start out with out 3 hours and 30 minutes to finish both sections and you can go back and forth between the two sections? Or do you get 1 hour 45 minutes and once you finish the 1st section, you move onto the 2nd section and cannot return back to the first section?

You get 3 hours 30 mins and 2 sections together. YOu go from 1 to 200 and then you can go back and forth as many times as you want.

So say I take 2 hours to do the 1st section, there will only be 1 hr 30 minutes to do the 2nd section? For example, if I finish question 100, it will automatically go to REVIEW screen telling me my completed/incompleted/marked questions, and from there, I can chose to go to the next section. Then when I finish question 200, I can do the same REVIEW. How then do I go back to the 1st section?

You also implied that I can go back between the sections.
I remember other people saying that once you finish a section (say microbiology) you can't go back to it once you start dental anatomy.

Which scenario is it? Or are there modifications needed to the scenarios below?

Scenario 1:
3 hrs 30 minutes allotted to disperse between 2 sections.
Do Section 1, Review (Q1-100), Submit. Do Section 2, Review (Q101-200), Submit. No back and forths allowed.

Scenario 2:
3 hrs 30 minutes alloted to disperse between 2 sections.
Do Section 1, Review (Q1-100). Do Section 2, Review (Q101-200). Submit both sections at once. You can go back and forth between sections.

I thought this was a forum to help people, and I have had no help on this matter at all! I wanted the exact breakdown of when the review screens pop up and the step-by-step procedures for taking the first two sections.

Hi Oatmaster,

Don't worry, you will have plenty of time to go between sections. Here is a breakdown of the exam:

Each session: 3 hours 30 minutes
2 sections - Q 1-200 -you do these all continuously
Once you finish question 200, the review screen pops up
You can review Q1-200 as many times as you like until your
time is over

My advice is to answer all of the questions as you do them, don't leave any unanswered. Mark the ones you want to come back to and change your answers when you review if you need to. Do not waste too much time on one question. Try and spend an equal amount of time on each section the first time you go through them. For example, I spent about an hour on each section and then spent the the remaining time reviewing the marked questions. I actually had plenty of time and finished both sessions half an hour early. Let me know if you need to know anything else.

I'll try and post some of the questions that came up on my exam in the next day or two so look out for that.

Hope that helps! Good Luck!

Dont worry dude, you get so much time that you can take a nap in the exam and finish it 2 hrs early. Keep marking the questions you are not sure of, and at the end the program will take you for the review. And you submit after the 200 questions in each section not after 100 of each subject... 👍
