Would it make much a difference to take my pre-pharmacy courses at a CC? Then a well known private or state college? BTW im lookng at Middlesex CC, thanks.

Not in my experience. I'd suggest searching some older threads as this subject gets tons of traffic. I've seen threads on this at least 2x before in the last two weeks. So far 90-95% (depeding on which school) of my prereqs are from CC's. It was good enough to get interviews at Well known private college (USC), State college (Oregon State as an out-of-state applicant), and lesser known, but still reputable private (Western Univ). I haven't been accepted yet, but I haven't been rejected yet either.
All my pre-reqs are from CC. I have received interviews from Findlay, St. John Fisher, South, and Wingate. I've been deferred at 3 and waitlisted at 1.
All my pre-req's are from a community college, but I also graduate this may with a BS in Cell Biology & Physiology.....
Got interviews @...
Minnesota (Accepted)
Midwestern CCP and CPG (Accepted to both)
University of Arizona (Accepted)
Iowa (declined interview offer)
Colorado (declined interview offer)
i have done all my work at a CC and was accepted to the school i applied to. i also have a classmate that was accepted to two out of three he applied to with only CC classes. i dont think it makes that much of a difference as long as your pcat has shown that you have learned something.
Taking pre-reqs at community college is better, imo, because the classes are easier, which enables you to get a higher GPA. However, if you get something like a 3.00gpa at a CC, it does look bad. Going to a CC, you have to get above 3.75 to look good. So, remember to try hard and aim for that 4.00 gpa.
I think as long as you make good grades taking classes at a cc is fine. I have taken all my classes at a community college and Ive been accepted to my first choice pharmacy school.
