I know it seems like you are "coping" out if you take your pre reqs at a CC while attending a university, but what about other classes?

I need to talk a sociology class for my degree, and I figured I could knock it out quick over the summer. Would it look like I was trying to cheap out?

I have taken all of my prereqs at a community college. I just don't feel like paying a couple grand for one class, when I can do it on a CC for a few hundred.

I think you should take a lot of your soft classes at a CC (Humanities, History, Language). This tends to lead to a better grade (higher yield than taking science classes at a CC anyway).

In the big picture, your overall GPA and your science GPA matter a lot more than what colleges you went to.

Its ok if you take your science pre-reqs at CCs, especially if its wiser to do so financially.
