Hello,

I was not able to take intro to physiology (a lower division physiology course in the kinesiology department) this summer. I am looking to take an upper division neuroanatomy and neurophysiology course in the future, is that going to better fulfill the anatomy and physiology recommended courses? I was just wondering because the class has a neuro emphasis

completely different classes. it will not better fulfill anything... i'm sure some schools will still want you to take anatomy/physio.

so are you saying that i should go for the neuroanatomy and physiology course?

Oh what I'm saying is that you shouldn't take neuroanatomy and neurophys to replace anatomy and physio. I personally ended up taking all 4 of those courses , but that's just because I was interested in neuroanatomy and neurophys. Even if you take the neuro classes, I suggest that you take human anatomy and physiology as well. If anything, you should take human anatomy and physio over those neuro ones.

Thanks, but what if I take systems physiology (emphasis on human), which is an upper division physiology course? I already took human anatomy that's why

oh, okay. yeah, you are totally good to go. that physio class would be totally fine.. mine was technically called animal physiology (focus on humans).
