Hi,
I have an updated CV which is 3 pages long. It includes my education, awards/honors, research experience/poster presentations/publications, clinical experience, and other work experience and extracurriculars.
My questions are:
1) Is three pages too long for a medical student's CV? I have only included things from undergrad, gap year, and now medical school.
2) Should I cut it down and have a separate document which is longer and perhaps more descriptive?
3) Is it a good idea to include a picture either on your CV or with it?
The reason I ask these questions is because I'm trying to find a good way to keep in touch with my contacts. For example, say I meet a physician in a field I'm interested in or someone I feel may be helpful in the future, what would be the best way to keep in touch with them and keep them from forgetting you? I was thinking about sending them an email saying "it was nice meeting you" and "here's my CV just so you know more about me". Is this a good way of doing it? maybe adding a picture because that way they remember your face?
Thanks
