So, I got a semi-spammy email for a "complimentary CV evaluation" (Targeted Physician Job Boards). I assume that they got my information the same way every other "spammy" physician recruiter did. However, I am job-hunting. And although I like my CV and had several former supervisors review it, I do wonder if its not doing a good job. Does anyone know how legit these services are? I mean, I realize that recruiters get paid for placements, but they also make money off of filling up their databases with CVs. So, I'm not sure how much of a direct benefit this could be for me.
