Hi!
I currently a Soph Undergrad with Double major in Biology and Math. GPA was a 3.58, but I got all B's this semester so it will go down to 3.36.. and my science GPA will go down to a 3.30. I am dropping my math so I can do better in my science classes and I'm 6 classes away from the math major. I have a few questions about what I need to do in the next 4 semesters:
1) I will be completing my Bio degree in 9 semesters( I stated in spring since I left high school early)instead of 8 and this is because I spend some time on math. Does this look bad on my application? Should I just continue with Math?
2) When is the prime time to take the DAT? I will be completing the Orgo series by next year, and taking Biochem during my senior year.
3) The school I want to go to (Midwestern IL) has Biochem as a pre req. Would I be able to apply without taking Biochem since I am taking in during my senior year?
4) Finally, could you guys share your stats(who got accepted)? 🙂
