Hey all,
I recently recieved the following email:
Dear Student,
Congratulations! You have been selected to participate in a very special recruitment program at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. The Committee on Admissions has received your application materials and commends you on your accomplishments. You present many of the attributes and personal qualities we feel are important in assessing competent and caring future physicians. We are very pleased to invite you to visit the College of Medicine on *****, ***** **th to participate in our Diversity Interview Program.
The program will begin at 8:00 a.m. with a continental breakfast hosted by Dr. Mia Mallory, Associate Dean, and Dr. Chris Lewis, Assistant Dean, from the Office of Diversity and Inclusion. In addition to interviewing, we have planned events and activities that will provide you with information about the College of Medicine. After your interview, you will attend a reception hosted by current medical students until 5:30 p.m. For the past 20 years, the time spent with the medical students has been a highlight of the program.
Please call ***** at *** *** **** by ****day, ****** **th at 12:00 pm to confirm your participation, reschedule your interview or withdraw your application. If we do not hear from you by 12:00 p.m. on the 19th, we will assume you are not interested in participating in the Diversity Interview Program and your spot will be given to another candidate.
Is this an actual interview invite? Or is it more of a "We like diversity, come learn why!" kind of thing? My apologies if this is a silly question. I sent my secondary to this school in December, if that matters.
Thank you,
Bondogo
